Copies of all reports completed by the Berea Police Department can be obtained at the Berea Police Department information window located in the rear of the Berea Police and Municipal Building.

For reports by mail, please send a S.A.S.E. with your check or money order.

Allow 5-7 working days for report completion. Pick up during normal business hours 8 AM-4 PM, Monday-Friday, except holidays & weekends. Call ahead for better service and to see if report is ready.

Arrangements can be made to pick up copies after business hours by calling in advance.

THERE IS A $2.00 CHARGE FOR EACH WRITTEN REPORT.

ecord Checks

Record Checks (Criminal Histories) may be obtained through the Administrative office of the Courts in Frankfort, KY either by mail or in person in the following manner:

  1. Request by mail must include:
  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Social Security Number
  • Self-addressed, postage paid envelope
  • Check or money order payable to the Kentucky State Treasurer

Request should be sent to: AOC Pre-trial Records, 100 Millcreek Road, Frankfort, KY 40601.

  1. An individual may request in person by going directly to the AOC office. This office has a drive-through window which is open from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM.

Driver's license can be renewed at the Madison County Circuit Court Clerk's Berea office located in the front of the Berea Police and Municipal Building at the following times:

1st Friday 1-4 PM
2nd Friday 1-4 PM
3rd Friday 1-4 PM
4th Friday 8:30 AM-4 PM
5th Friday 8:30 AM-4 PM

Vehicle tag renewals and transfers can be completed at the Berea Office of the Madison County Clerk located in the Berea City Hall Building, 212 Chestnut Street; Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4:30 PM except holidays. For additional information, contact the Madison County Clerk's office at (859) 986-1460 or (859) 624-4703.

Parking fines can be paid at the Berea Police Department information window located at the Berea Police and Municipal Building rear entrance at any time or can be dropped off at one of the courteous drop boxes. Drop boxes are located on Main Street in front of Berea Coffee & Tea and on Chestnut Street in front of Lincoln Hall.
