The Berea City Council is made up of 8 Council members. The Mayor is elected at-large every four years. The Council members are all at-large representatives and their term is for two years.

ity Council Meetings

The City of Berea City Council meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. on the 1st floor of the Police and Municipal Building, 314 Chestnut street, Berea, KY.

The City Council welcomes public comment. If you wish to hand out a prepared statement to Council, you may give the City Clerk copies of the handout to be passed out when it is your turn to speak. If you wish to address Council on an item that is on the agenda, wait until that item is discussed and then offer comment when the Mayor asks if there is anyone in the audience wishing to speak to Council on this matter.
